Anyone interested in 3d mapping the local underwater area of the bot?
Khaled has been a superb mentor at the beginning stages of this project. A lot of clarity has been gained through his ideas on sonar and underwater mapping.
We could focus more on heat monitoring sensors( thermal ). For specific fish, there are specific body temperatures. These would help in providing instant direction for the robot to travel in.
And by the way, I’m up for the programming. love it but I’ll need to know the board i’ll be working with ( processor ).
I would try a slightly different approach ; visual data collection with sonar data . Perhaps some type of AI integration with wetware is also should be taken into consideration.

Could something like this be used a first version for the radar system? Except water proof obviously.
