IDEA

New Thoughts and Ideas

Here comes the development model, it’s my point of view and would like to share.

Kidrino is not a “Project” but I envision as a “Product”. Based on the current description by Shalini and discussions as a team, Kidrino is an “Idea” and like Steven said, one cannot protect the idea but can protect the Source code. That being said, I’m working on a model where the “Source code” and Intellectual Property belongs to me (As I’m responsible to Design, Develop and Maintain) so I have the rights to distribute to any clients or snip it off as a “Company” etc. as I wish.

Shalini Sundari , Steven Reubenstone Let me know your thoughts. We need to define the terms and conditions.

Shalini Sundari Could you explain what you meant by MVP for Kidrino? MVP that I know applies to technologies and is awarded by Microsoft as “Most Valuable Professional”.

MVP- Minimum Viable Product
The features Kidrino will show when it comes out as atleast a proof of concept.Lets say
1.User Login
2.Course Dashboard indicating completion status ,score/rank,profile.
3.Courses containing tutorials
4.Log out
Is this fine Ranjan Dailata
Do let me know if I am wrong
Thank you

MVP- Minimum Viable Product
The features Kidrino will have as a bare minimum that gives a gist of the Product to the common public when shown.
Let’s say some features are
1.Login /logout
2.Dashboard indicating courses , profile, Rank,etc
3.Course containing video tutorials and quiz
Let me know if this is clear Ranjan Dailata
Thanks

Shalini Sundari The requirements for MVP looks good at high level. If you would like to go, then a detailed discussion requirement analysis, design, architecting things etc. has to take place. It kicks down to the project development life cycle.

Thanks for the insights!
So shall we start with the details?
I understand much of this cannot be covered by posting.
Could you walk through the process in brief so we as a team can understand better?

The preferred mechanism to get started is by laying out tasks with a dedicated Gig. Every project/product requires detailed analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment etc. The first thing is as a customer, you have to provide the team with your full requirements. Then the development team can take it forward in implementing the same.

Please take a look into this video to understand the SDLC process
