STORY

PostnPay

What differentiates us:

Price – with weight and distance being the key drivers, our suggested price encourages commuters to charge prices that are always less than those of traditional couriers.
Personalised service – We give senders the option to choose who will deliver their parcel, whilst making sure it fits their budget and schedule.

Full transparency – After matching a sender with a commuter, they are able to communicate in real time through the app to ensure there are no missed deliveries.

Trust - Once a delivery has been completed, 4-digit verification code will be sent to the commuter in order to release the funds into their account. Additionally, background checks are run on both senders and commuters registering on the platform and there is a rating system in place to further ensure quality and safety.

I think it’s important to take into consideration the rise of coworking spaces, gig economy, etc. For example, we work in WeWork, and we often miss our package deliveries on Saturday’s. Primarily most of the stuff we’re shipping to us is from Amazon Prime, and Banggood. Anton Voltchok orders like 12 packages a day

So like Uber… but for mail … I dig it haha. I’m not sure how easy it would be to get insurance, but it would probably make people feel a lot more comfortable, people weren’t comfortable with AirBnB at first but insuring houses for up to 1 million dollars helped.

( Steve was talking about USPS, whenever you get something shipped to a business address and they try to make the delivery on Saturday, which obviously can’t be done because building is closed, they essentially bring it back to their facility 2 blocks over and don’t deliver it for another 3-10 days for some reason. )

Aristos Michaelides I like the idea behind PostnPay.

Considering that the packages might be worth more than what will be paid to the commuters, how do you prevent them from being tampered, damaged or stolen during transit?

Steven Reubenstone thank you for the insight; we haven’t really thought of addressing that segment before. We will definitely talk to some of the co-working spaces we have access to here in London. Anton Voltchok thank you for your comment; Insurance is definitely one of the most important product features we discovered when talking to potential users and are thus trying to speak to various insurance players in the gig economy. Harsha Alva thanks for your comment and hope the above answers your question :)
