IDEA

The power supply, electromechanical components and all other circuit depends on the mechanical design. Mechanical design depends on the task to be performed. So first it would be better to state the problem to be solved by our Wall-E. Let’s make a list of the task that are to be done by Wall-E.

yes, you are right. In the first attempt itself, we cannot aim for a fully functional perfect Wall-E. We should try to make the wall-E in versions. Like each version will be having something new and better , which will make it more closer to the original Wall-E. So, for the First Version of our Wall-E , we need to define some goals. The Wall-E should be able to work in rough terrain. Lets not think of changing the main drive in later version.
The arms are the other main part, arm should be able grab stuff, the arm end effector can be modified on the way.
The head should be able to produce complete rotation of 360 degree.
The intelligence can be added to the bot on the way.

the arm i think its a mix hydraulic and gear type, so we need electric hydraulic pump, all is connected to servo and positioning sensor.

If we maintain the power supply for max torque required … Then less torque applications will automatical consume less powee …
