Mobiles Apps and Interop Solution

Hello guys, Your project is very exciting and revolutionary one. I can foresee it’s future. I’m the creator of “NHyperCat” an Open Source Solution for exchanging IOT information in an interoperable fashion. If things goes well, we can partner and work out an amazing solution for building a shared/common codebase mobile Apps that can run on Android and iOS. Also, interoperability being the key thing, sure enough the data needs to be exported or shared to “HealthCare” providers etc.

FHIR is the latest industry standard that most of the healthcare providers are following these days. In general, we need to think about other supported data exchange formats like HL7.

A tiny document provides a high level overview about FHIR usage - https://giarre.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/applying-hl7-fhir-to-diabetes-information-exchange-4.pdf

Yes, they are totally different. HIPPA sets standards for protecting sensitive patient data. All healthcare entities must follow HIPPA standards and be complaint. FHIR on the other hand is a standard for interoperable data exchange. There should be a mechanism for exporting or securely sharing the PHI information and that’s where FHIR, HL7 V2, V3 etc. standards come into picture. You might be aware of EMR, EHR, PHR systems etc. they are HIPPA complaint and do support standards for interoperable data exchange.

Carlos Bernal I would like to know more about

  1. Web or Mobile Apps that you currently have
  2. The future plans to expand and ideas regarding the EHR/EMR integration.
  3. Does your product live in Mexico or USA market?
  4. What requirements do you have in mind regarding data export or sharing?
  5. Do you have plans to maintain data on cloud storage
  6. We need to be very careful about securing patient health info. Is it all implemented or it’s in the early stage of development.

We can discuss more and work together as I have a right mix of Healthcare Domain Knowledge and S/W background.
