Hai everyone - It’s been a while. It’s with the greatest grief I have to announce this project closed. I tried to dream big without standing straight. Blame me for that -as the lead, I should have foreseen such things. We went straight into HPC’s and making custom OS for our game’s which crushed the entirety of the project. However everything was not in vain, now I have a good and rigid custom game networking library as the end result and learned a lot throughout the journey. With all the experience gained, I am starting fresh with a new project - this time no mistakes for sure. I am trying to make a small 2D game for the starter using GLEW. But the end goal is an MMO third-person shooter (nothing like never before) but for now, all we need is a 2D game to start with. So if you still have the fire in you I will start coding soon join me for the next feat. Spoilers ahead - The new Projects name will be “Near Earth”. The end goal is to make a huge procedurally generated consistent world where players are going to live through real-time immersion.
