Hi Narendran Ashok
I’ve designed a power generating circuit, with battery backup, considering only low cost and commercially available components.
I’d be grateful if my peers here could review it. I’m not an Electronics engineer.
Here’s the description of the circuit:
A few thoughts:
- Since the current and voltage generated by a piezo crystal will be very less, we can use an array of them, probably 2S5P.
- Piezo crystals must be placed under the heels and also the soles to generate more energy.
Out of topic, but if we ned to generate more energy, we could try with a geared DC motor as a dynamo. We will need to design a crank mechanism, similar to those used in hand-cranked torches. They will be placed under the heels to generate power.
PS: I’m grateful to my friend John Rodrigues for intoducing me to Collaborizm.
