It is a challenging problem.
I think it it will be possible if it is possible to have some sort of electrodes implanted in the pillow or cover to catch the signal, and the signal can be amplified and transmitted by implanted circuit using wireless protocol like zigbee or Bluetooth for gateway like Raspberry Pi which analyses the signal to detect heart attacks and sends alarms in different forms.

And I want the solution to be contactless because personally I feel embarrassed wearing a band to my wrist all the time especially during sleep and some people think that it is only for older people and they don’t wear bands so it is better integrated on bed with some kind of smart textile

the major issue here i see is sensors the rest is pretty straight forward. working with what we have now i’ll suggest either lots of highly sensitive bump sensors or a plain sensor board within the bed. would begin sensing once its switched on and your in full inertia

Heart even radiates EM wave… its been detected… but not sure any general purpose sensors are there or not… it may be possible to monitor it using pressure (pulse) or sound (heart beat)? will be more safer…

well that too could work. just looking for a cheap and easily manufacturable solution.using that Bi sh would make it just any normal bed the sensors wouldn’t be on the bed. that’s not really cool but workable
