QUESTION

Hey what’s up if you are looking for an idea on different sensors you can implement for obstacle avoidance take a look at this Ping Ultrasonic Sensor https://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/Ping?from=Tutorial.UltrasoundSensor#.Uy-kAPldUsz. I’ve used it for a couple of my own projects and its pretty efficient for what it does.

How about creating a very generic base for the robot and create multiple ‘slots’ that allow easy installation of modular components (much like legos, but cheaper and more customized/customizable). Components and the base could be made with cost efficiency and accessibility in mind!
