Its an wheel chair whose movement is based on our body movements. For this purpose i am using ultrasonic sensors. When u take ur head backwards the sensor senses ur presence and the dc motor connected to wheels run forward. Similarly using another ultrasonic sensor on the side wards u can turn around the wheel chair keeping ur head sideways. The coding for ultrasonic sensor and dc motor is done for arduino microcontroller. I want u to help me in interfacing the ultrasonic sensors with dc motor coding for arduino…

Use any other trigger for forward motion of the wheel chair.
From here i am explaining a psychological fact in hindi…
Agar koi person panic hota hai to wo kisi cheej ko tightly pakad leta hai apni body tight kar leta hai aur head ko peeche ki taraf le jata hai ( bike ya giant wheel par baithne par kabhi darr lagta hai to logo ka yahi reaction hota hai).
Now imagine ek disabled person tumare wheel chair par baitha hai suddenly koi cheej samne aa gyi ya aisa kuch hua jis se ki wo dar gya to uska sudden reaction ye ho sakta hai ki wo wheel chair ko tightly pakad le and head ko aur peeche ki taraf daba le jis se wheel chair rukegi nahi aur accident ho jayega.

Also share the code and i will add the dc motor functions.
But before that tell me the mechanism used to take turns, are you using two different motors for the two wheels?

In this wheel chair i am using two ultrasonic sensors one sensor is placed at the back side of the chair and another side wards may be left or right… the mechanism of working of this sensor is it realease some waves of certain frequency if ur head is backwards then the waves strike an object and it detects an object which inturn makes the dc motor to move front (here dc motor is merged with ultrasonic sensor, if the sensor detects it makes the movement of motor) if ur head is front it does not detects any object hence motor does not move. Similarly sideways also… using this mechanism the wheel can rotate also.
Coming to the point of getting shocked by seeing some strange things… this wheel chair is made for those who are physically unstable but mentally stable… so i dont think we’ll have this problem

Ok, you can directly connect the sensors if they already have module else u need their modules…interface the dc motors by using motor shield (Adafruit motor shield is one of them). With the help of motor shield controlling the motors (speed, direction) become more easier.

The adafruit motor shield is directly mounted on the arduino. This makes it very easy to connect the motors,servos or steppers.
