Jonathan is an experienced operation executive and entrepreneur. His 20 plus years of senior leadership within the financial, government, technology and non-profit sectors was refined across a large global financial institution, a Wall Street consulting firm, an innovative payment technology company, and a local municipality.
Currently, Jonathan is engaged in assisting very early stage companies with strategy, capital raising, marketing, sales and many other key tasks in the development of new business. He enjoys rolling up his sleeves and diving into any project to further your business success. Jonathan has developed customized business plans tailored for capital fundraising (including venture capital) and strategic partnerships; streamlining operations, financial and sales best practices for forecasted corporate growth, and proprietary modeling, as well as the creation building financial models to show short-term and long-term predictive quantitative revenue growth.
Jonathan is also currently working with a number of accelerators in the South Florida area. The accelerators provide mentoring to new companies for both corporate launch and sustained growth initiatives. Jonathan has received mentoring training from Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) proven Venture Mentoring Service. Established in 2000, MIT VMS has assisted more than 1,450 startup ventures who have raised more than 1.4 billion in funding to date.
During a decade at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Jonathan successfully led many international corporate initiatives, including setting up a fixed income trading desk in the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, he integrated and divested businesses for the global wealth management division, and implemented key revenue accelerators for financial advisors.
With the Township of Cherry Hill New Jersey, Jonathan authored a statewide purchasing card manual and implemented procedural guidelines which streamlined the efficiency of day-to-day municipal-operations.
While at Actrade Financial Technologies, Jonathan created banking products that have become the best alternatives for short-term financing solutions. He also obtained multi-million-dollar evolving credit facilities, and developed a web-based processing mechanism for short-term borrowing. Additionally, Jonathan created a global marketing campaign that focused on banking and non-banking financials.
On Wall Street, with the Carson Group, Jonathan captured Fortune 100 companies as clients, and served as their senior analyst and advisor. With his pulse on the market, Jonathan aligned clients with large investors (buy side) and stock raters (sell side), to evaluate overall stock and corporate financial performance.
Jonathan received his MBA in Finance and Management from the University of Miami and his Bachelor’s Degree from The George Washington University. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt accreditation and serves as a member on multiple non-profit boards.
