What about using raspberry pi 2 with ROS (robot operating system) and using gmapping ( it is a package supported by ROS). For using gmapping you need information from your ultrasonic range finder and motion information which you can get from the odometry of your robot.

Really helpful +Kabadi Ramachandra… as Closed Loop Control is already incorporated in these BLDC Motors… plus various other advance features… will definitely come hand while choosing the Drive.
