Coming to think of it, as long as your motors are not electric in nature, it is very difficult to use in a quad copter as in this the motors need to be very precise.
Even if you install Gyro and have a kick ass algorithm, all that will go down the drain when you try to control a jet engine. If you work on a IC engine based drone before shifting to jet engine, you will have a better idea of what I am talking.
Or probably you might be having some idea mind which I missed or you did not share about the project which might make it work.
