QUESTION

Question posted by dndsmartlabs workspace (slackbot)

is it good to make the cost estimation of the product before the MVP or After the MVP?

Hope that makes sense!

It doesn’t matter whether it’s a software/hardware product, there should be a proper planning for funding and cost estimation to produce vs the usage after the development. This has to happen way ahead before even you put an effort in building something, unless it’s a hobby project 😃

Note - MVP is just a thing that you are coming up to quickly prove the concept whether or not you are capable enough and prove the concept.

R&D costs more than the final product
I’m trying to understand the margin
