Attract and repel technique

We can use iron to attract a magnet and use like poles to repel each other.

If we lay magnets around a rotating disc with the n-pole positioning outward, with an iron and a permanent magnet positioning the n-pole inward the disc to attract and repel the those magnets, I think this can produce continuous process.

Hi 🙌… this will not produce continuous motion… this arrangement will turn nearly 45 degrees (this final state will depend on the inclination angle of the magnets placed in the disc) and then it will attain stability…
This is because the second magnet (which is attracted by iron in the figure) will be repelled by the outside magnet’s n pole (also in closest distance with iron which is still attracting it) when it rotates 45 degrees…
And the first magnet which is repelled by outside one will be at maximum distance from it… so the system will attain stability and does not move further…
I think this will explain but if you want I can draw the diagram of the setup when it is in its stable state…

yes you are right, i made a failed attempt with this design.it gets stuck.
