It must have the following features:
The overall goal is to have the ability to lift and lower a plastic storage bin.
Most of the parts should be able to be 3d printed
It must able to lift a plastic storage bin roughly weighting 10-15lbs, 12-18ft in 3-5 seconds.
Use one motor if possible.
Use DC motor with encoder.
Encoder will allow feedback of position of cable/ribbon
Motor controller must use TTL or serial interfaces.
Once hoist is lowered to the container, it needs to be able to attach mechanism which will ‘clamp’ onto storage bin to begin the lifting.
Should have a sensor which indicates whether storage bin is attached to hoist.
I will supply all hardware/electronics etc.
You must have tools, which would include access to 3D printer.
I have ideas on how this might be engineered but would ask an NDA be signed prior to further discussions.
