STATUS

Update October 3, 2016:

I have been out of the US (visiting the Raspberry Pi Foundation in Cambridge England, no less) for the past two weeks.

I replaced a bad LiPo cell in the unit and am now back into testing.

Well, you do need to build an OurWeather kit and add the solar panels and controller. Then you can help test.

What I am doing right now is trying to run down a problem with the temperature sensing device (AM2315) where the temperature will suddenly read about 30 degrees to high. I’m trying to determine whether the problem is in the reporting software or actually in the sensor. You can see the problem by looking at:

https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KWALIBER14

Remember, this device is under development and will pop up and down unexpectedly.#

Hi john, would really love to participate. I enquired around but seems the kit isnt available here in my country so dont think I will be able to help with the kit testing. Please let me know what else I could bring to the table.
