I don’t know about you, but I am really curious about how SLA printers first came about. Did some scientist say hey I need a 3d prototype of something and he built one? What’s the story? Lets discuss!

I like how he was at work making coatings for tables when he had the idea. Shows how inspiration can come from anywhere.

Chuck Hull found the 3D printer first and started a company 3D systems.

I thought it was interesting about the French team that filed a patent for stereolithography 3 weeks before Chuck Hull & ended up abandoning it. Good example of why you should never give up.
