Front wheel drive and front wheel steer, universal joint integrates with the fairing very well…no derailment issues. by maintaining the chain from the crank to the left side of u joint fixed and routing the chain on the other side of the u joint down to the cassette, we have two seperate chain assembies of minimal length that are in their own respective motion which should minimize delraiment issues.
trouble - implementing the u joint without interfering wth riders leg.
considering the safety…as rider’s legs should not be in the same area as u joint and considering the space requirements, we wl hv to switch the components position so the u joint is now forward of the crank.
though it will have a longer wheel base, and its effect on turning radius so to compensate that we can make the head tube vertical . ths will get the wheelbase back to its initial value from when the crank was infront of u joint.
