Is there any material exist in nature whose refractive index is less than 1?

X rays have got refractive index less than 1.

Hello Dear,
I have asked about the material. I think the whole light spectrum have less R.I then 1 that`s why we are unable to see the propagation of light accept in darkness. Actually R.I is the ratio of propagation of light in the material with respect to speed of light in vacuum.
so, kindly help if any material exist.

Sorry about that. Talking about materials I guess there’s no material which is having R.I less than 1 but there are certainly artificially made materials called metamaterials having R.I less than 0 or negative R.I.
