We need to design the bait release pcb board for the fishing drone. it will be using NRF radio modules and have separate power supply with BMS system and dedicated remote.

there are two things to keep in mind that if i run atmega328p at 16 Mhz i’ll need 5 v power. but i can also run it at 3 v with 8 MHz internal clock to minimize the circuit and power requirements. i’ll test if 9g servo can run good with 3 v. how much torque you need for your mechanism. just for the knowledge 9g servo generates 1.6 Kg/cm torque at 5-6 v and i guess it will generate at least 0.8-1 Kg torque at 3v.
now coming at your questions.
mechanism will need approx 500 mA current.
A general 3.7 cell will be enough for this because a servo only drains power when it’s moving. in our application it’ll only move when we release the bait and that too for a fraction of seconds. TP4056 is enough for this. i’ll use ic rather then module itself. tp4056 ic is approx 10 INR and module is 120 INR.
