NextTask:

Brainstorm the design for the reel mechanism. (This will reel the pizza up and down from the bluetooth signal (via dc motor).

Does anyone have any diagramming or 3D modeling tools for this?


@Team – finally back on this Project, sorry for the wait – but I am motivated to continue putting this together.

I will contribution shoutout and review all team members who participate 😃

So for our next Task --> Let’s assume we have our h-bridge and bluetooth circuitry working properly. It seems with this new code uploaded by John Raymark Del Puerto everything should work cleanly.

out of curiosity could you explain why bluetooth signal is so much weaker than RF? I like understanding these things before i choose technologies to use.

its 2.04GHz range… very high compared to normal Radio controller frequency… say FM 100MHz or RF Modules 433MHz… higher the frequency higher the attenuation… cant pass through longer… if into still higher range say into Optical… which we can see… its still the same thing… but it can pass through even a paper… So. lower the frequency longer the distance…
There are various ultra low frequency transmission that can travel the Whole world several times without getting much attenuation but need ultra large antenna to detection. Higher the frequency lesser the Antenna size.
Regarding Bluetooth coincidentally, all MicroWatving devicies also work on that same range…2GHz… and many a times Bluetooth devices gets severely affected by Microwave devices around…

I personally think if Wireless Technology like Bluetooth (frequency hopping… very secure compared to same frequency communication…) has potential to be more applicable if shifted to lower frequency range… can be used for Control also… Actually by Standard definition itself Bluetooth is designed for Wire Elimination only… Some Adhock advance on demand networking capability is its other advantage.
