IDEA

I have been able to summerize a youtube playlist, which i think is more than enough to help us design and make the track wheel system for wall-e, fast and cheap.
Here is the link to my playlist.

I will urge all of you to go through it and give valuable advises and suggestions.

John Rodrigues yes, you are right though. But, instead of starting everything from the scratch, you might want to see, what others may have done first. I have compiled a playlist. You can go through it. If, doing everything from the scratch is the only option, then we will do everything from the scratch. Shamim Mazharul Vishnu R

John Rodrigues Vishnu R you can have a look at what Shamim Mazharul had already done, and maybe modify it and start from there.

Sandhan Sarma That is a 3D print ready .stl non editable file. No way I can edit that. If there is way, I don’t know how to. It looks like we will have to make a new one just like it. Any other ideas?

Ok, thats a problem then. I have used a software called OpenSCAD for designing basic 3d models. Its purely parametric and mathematical 3d designer. The main advantage is you get precise control over the design and also you can change the design anyway you like. You should check it out.
