My experience with having a startup might not appeal to everyone, but allow me to share my opinion. Startup is a great culture nowadays yes, but jumping in too soon might not always be a good idea. If you have a compelling idea and passion to make a business around that idea, its never too early to go for a startup. But if you want to start a startup and do some business but not sure what, i suggest that you worked for some company for a period. That way, once you have your own startup, you will have much lesser chances of failures. Having a startup is not just about being able to make amazing things, but is primarily about being able to sell those amazing things. So experience with selling and managing stuffs would be a great advantage.
