Abhi Verma very awesome guide man, thanks for posting it! I have a couple NRF modules and they look just like that one, but are the pa+ lna+ version, so the only difference is they have a connector soldered at the top for an external antenna.

On one of the units, I got about 700 meters range, and the other I got about 900 - 1000 meters range with it, but I swapped the crappy antenna that came with it for a cloverleaf though so that might be why it got the extra range boost, anyways just wanted to let people know in case someone needs the range to be larger

i have achieved around 200 mtrs with the lna+pa module. But there was 5-6 buildings in line of sight.
Also implemented the lna+pa in my quad copter and made custom remote with nrf. And that quad went above 100 mtrs before i failed to control the quad due to heavy winds up there.

With my experience i found that lower air data rates and reduced packet size brings better range. I always use 250kbps instead of 2mbps.
