STATUS

BlackCoin (The Black Community's Virtual Currency)

Black Americans spend more than every other racial group combined, but are disrespected… It is said that $1 stays in the white community 29 days, the Asian American community 30 days and the Jewish community a staggering 32 days before the money is dispersed outside the community because there are community owned businesses. For blacks that number is 8 hours, specially the amount of time for people to cash their check and give their money to community outsiders. Why not use virtual currency technology to allow blacks to gain control over their spending and allow the promotion and proper development of black own businesses and products?

They say the idea could be huge, but I do trust Collaborizm that nobody is going to just run with it before we can do it. People always tell me not to publish ideas, but that is completely against my spirit of journalism, which I have much pride in.

Some people might want to use virtual technology to fight the everyday racism we see out there. I don’t chose to be a journalistic spectator anymore. I want to stop what I write about every single year. This is how we can do it.

We have a real opportunity to make a difference here. I know the finance of this all but I need help with the tech. What is needed to run and trade a virtual currency, linked to an online bank? Riddle you this. I am also looking for people who might want to join the team on this. Reach out… It is certainly getting attention.

People can use AFROCOINS on their phones. Use only at black owned businesses for INCREDIBLE discounts. We earn most our money from the black owned businesses we point sales to. Win-Win.

Can you prototype by putting together black owned businesses? Potentially mapping them to allowing customers to buy black can help.

I am just starting to do so. I am doing a quick write up. We know we will need equipment for both black owned and operated bushiness along with technology on consumers’ phones. We will also need technology to run the online bank backed by the virtual currency to make all these transactions possible.
