How To create Two Reference for Op-amp

Hey!
I’m working on Op-amps for designing of active filters. For that I need to create two references i.e. +12V and -12V. If i use single battery means its getting shorted. But its the restriction that i can use multiple batteries for this. I have to use Single Battery as source for my Filter Design…

What is battery voltage?
Use negative voltage regulator like 7912, Old school stuff.
You will need battery > 12VDC or have to use voltage boosters if having lower voltage battery.
No one uses +12, -12V rail opamps. You get very good low operating voltage OpAmps.
Do you need 12VDC & 12VDC only?

you can use boost converter to get 24v abd then volatge devider to provide 12v signal. use 12v signal as ground and there will be +12v and -12v on ends.
second option is to use 1:2 transformer (center tapped). use 555 as multi vibrator to turn on/off primary of transformer. on secondary use two bridge rectifier to get +12v and -12v DC.
