I would recommend Django-Oscar:

Based on Django, it can be easily plugged-in as a Django app and can be integrated with other apps for extending functionalities.

Various medium-sized enterprises and startups are opting Oscar as their base for developing an e-commerce platform.

Jenny Salimi Technology selection is kind of relative thing, If the scope of the project is enterprise then Magento or custom will be the better option else WooCommerce or openCart is recommended because of usability and community.

Jenny Salimi our research show Shopify offers just the perfect balance. Shopify can help quickly put together a stunning platform, roll out to market and start attracting some real business…

WooCommerce is also a good option and for developing a long term robust system Magento is the way forward.
