The first big goal I intend to achieve is to fly a quadcopter via ground station (my personal computer) instead of via normal radio.
Then, I would like to integrate a camera in the quadcopter. The image processing could be onboard and then transmitted to the computer (giving more autonomy to the drone) or the raw image could be sent directly to the ground station… don’t know what to do yet… ideas are very welcome!!
To achieve the camera-processing-user integration we will have to develop/integrate some firmwares, image processing algorithms, etc.
Then, it would be good to develop a nice pilot-drone interface to run within the ground station.
Then we could work on integrating advanced software in order to give more autonomy to the drone, stability, machine learning, swarm behavior, etc
