There is something wrong with the connection of 4N35,emitter must be at ground not collector,this is an NPN transistor.

And I advise you to change 4N35 with a relay,because max forward current of opto transistor is 50 mA,you can damage it.

All the connections are wrong for 4N35,substitute with a relay is the best.

Thank you Mr. Mirkelamoglu but it is working this way. I used 4N35 as a transistor. Would you please explain with a circuit diagram ? Because since I am not an engineer, it could be easier for me. Thank you again for your time and interest.
