Could you please put together a list of each button on the interface and the associated request each needs to make

That way when I start messing around with React Native for the apps, it’s very clear what has to get done

Thanks Abhi Verma , that’s a great write up of the UI and functionality with pseudo code.

Thanks for the feedback man, we need to know stuff like this, if something should be working better in the native app / web, we want to know about it, and we want to hear community member ideas on how to make it better!

What contributes to a bad experience when you use the photo upload feature?

Could you please describe a solution you think would make it better?

This way we can take a serious look at implementing your suggestions.

Anton Voltchok when i,m trying to upload the pic , i,m not getting any sign of uploading. this causes problem when we have slow connection as it takes time to complete the upload. e.g. i was trying to upload the above pic on my iphone but didn’t get any sign. so i thought that upload feature is not working.
this is why i responded to you so late.

Abhi Verma outstanding reply / details and good idea on the making some type of loading indicator. Hey Robert Lancer , I just ran this in a 2G simulation on devtools mobile and it is pretty bad, the widget closes, the image code/link does not get put into the text field, and it took about 20 seconds to actually get inserted.

(Cloudinary also has keep_widget_open boolean we could potentially use)

Hey Abhi Verma , I talked to Rob about the issue and will be implementing a patch for it tomorrow.

I’ve been simulating poor 2G/ 3G connections periodically while testing but never tested image uploading on a bad connection. If it wasn’t for you brining this up this issue (which is significant) , would likely not have gotten resolved for a long time, so thank you man.

Also I should have a bit of time this weekend to start a game plan for the notes you uploaded and create a repo on Github for it

Anton Voltchok Thanks for the help regarding App building.
and i have one more suggestion about discussion feature. currently when we click on discussion, it opens all the ongoing threads. it,s good for few threads but causes a mess when finding in long threads. my suggestions is that discussion tab should have a list of recent updates of threads and the user will be taken to the particular thread by clicking on it instead of showing all. this way user will not have to scroll among all the threads to find the update.

on other hand when i reply to any thread e.g. this reply i,m writing currently will not be visible to me next time.
that means i can only see others comments not mine by default. which makes things bit confusing.
