I finished two courses in school: Industrial Engineering, and Instrumentation and Process Control Technology.
My background includes serving as Remotely-Operated Vehicle (ROV) Pilot Technician offshore in Oil and Gas industry, and as an Equipment & Process Engineer in semiconductor company.
Of my 13 years of experience in semiconductor company, I was consistently rated Outstanding among peers in our annual performance appraisal. I was even awarded Employee of the Year twice in Y2004 and Y2007 among ~5000 employees of the company. These rewards resulted from my active involvements in: (a) Root cause analysis / problem solving of process and equipment issues using design of experiments, data analysis / commonality study, failure mode and effect analysis, and; (b) Leading a number of projects that improved yield, cost, safety and equipment performance. Led the projects from conceptualization to validation, implementation, documentation and training.
On top of being a Process and Equipment Engineer, I multi-tasked as Project Lead, Lead Tech, Packaging Media Integrator, Equipment Commissioning and Refurbishment Engr, Product / Process / Equipment Qualifications, Equipment Spare and Budget Management, Generate Whitepapers, Specs and Training Materials, Conduct Equipment and Process Training to operators and technicians.
As an ROV Pilot Technician for 8 years, I have been engaged in the operation (flying / piloting) and maintenance of the submersible vehicle, as well as troubleshooting electrical, electronics and hydraulics system faults. I made sure that details are documented in the system for future reference / analysis for costing, spare parts management, etc. I also managed and trained trainees in my tour of duty.
I also bring to the table strong computer proficiencies in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
