PHONE DRONE

PHONE CASE THAT CAN CONNECT TO PHONE TO FLY IT TO TAKE PHOTOS. It must be light an connect to iphone and achieve flight yet fold into the back pocket of our user. Perhaps call it the “flying phone protector.” If we can make a drone out of something that phones are designed to fit in, then we have won an amazing battle! Let’s do this!

what if we connected this to CiteShare tested by New York Times reporters!…“on demand help”…so you have a drone fly directly to the student and facetime you

Steven Rocker I have reservations on this project.

  • A phone will be too heavy for micro quads but will not be an optimal load for size 250 (smaller) race quads.
  • A phone is not a “real-time” system. Any delays in processing will lead to crashes.

If you want an alternative drone to click your pictures, you could choose between the following Ready To Fly (RTF) products.

 

Alternatives and consturctive criticisms are whole-heartedly welcome.

Perhaps we build a bigger device, but it is our idea to let the cell phone achieve flight. I think we are calling it the first “reporter’s drone.” It can be a smart-snap-on-case.

Mobile has the required sensors for PID flying… So if we can use a Pi Zero and a case with four props, it can be done…!!

case will become slightly bigger to match the CG of the mobile and the placement of the motors…

Even Nano will be able to process yaar. we have to make a way to use the GPS, gyros, accelerometers of the mobile using a I2C communication. Here power supply has to be a work… and so full case can be made of solar panel to power up… might be it can help…!! powering up 4 motors cannot be a burden of mobile battery…

so payload will be more for ext battery, Arduino smd is negligible, then mobile’s wt…!! these are the wt into considerations.!!
