So i am working on this now. Can anyone explain what is the **deep signifance** of a taylor series. Like what does it mean exactly to you?

Simply put , taylor series helps us to truncate an infinite series into possible finite level and makes us sure what its going to be or for example how the graph is behaving. Lets assume, if heat is being conducted in a material then an engineer would be interested in knowing how the heat is being conducted over an infinite period of time or how is the heat varying in different locations. The questions like “is the heat or any other form of energy is behaving exponentially and or in log form?” Like these , the questions can be answered. Overall, this is a general view of taylor series.

Taylor Series depicts the calculus topics, just behind fundamental theorems and the mean value theorem. Taylor series can be practised to prove a plenitude of identities. We use them in the study of differential equations to approximate solutions to a given relation.

A tangent line is a Taylor Polynomial.

Any function satisfying a few criteria can be expressed as an infinite polynomial and that’s the significance of it.
