VoLTE support

How about the Voice over LTE support? Does the SIM recognize and work well with VoLTE based technology?

Ranjan This version is using a 2G only module. Next versions will support 3G,4G, LoRa and NBIOT.

Ravi Pujar I’m looking forward for next versions 😃 There are lots of use cases for VoLTE based technology. Also the ones that’s currently in the market supporting 3G/4G GSM Modems are very costly. I’m sure folks always look for better and cheaper priced ones.

Ravi Pujar I’m a big time fan of Jio for introducing VoLTE for the first time in India. Since they support unlimited voice, text and potentially even internet, we can take advantage of it. Use cases such as low cost “Hot spot” device, SIP communicator, IVRS based systems etc.

In summary, we can leverage the technology and take all benefits of it 😎

Nice idea. I am working on a low cost small size IVRS system. It will be Super small and very cheap if i get it working. Just put a sim and you are good to go. It will save inputs and data to a cloud or locally.
Right now the cheapest 4G module would be costing 3K INR.
