#Need_Help

I’m in a fix.

Trying to build a robot that can solve Rubic’s Cube.

I have to control 6 stepper motor separately,

Using Arduino Mega 2560 R3.

Is it possible to control 6 stepper motor separately at time with
Arduino Mega??

And what about motor shield? Do i have to use shield for each one??
(Connecting the wires of stepper motor is also a fact as it has 4 wires)

the stepper motor that you will use depends on the capacity of the arduino you are trying to use because if the arduino will be overloaded, and may be damaged. 😃

Yes you can definitely use 6 stepper motors by giving commands at each input seperately

The motor shield has 2 channels, which allows for the control of two DC motors, or 1 stepper motor… for more information use this link …

still haven’t got the proper answer 😕 . searched that link above, it shows that i can control 2 stepper motor at a time with shield. In that case i have to use 3 shields! That’s not the best idea, i have to make my project cheaper 😕
