Hey! How bout integrating Wind and Human power too. In Nepal, we can use Wind-mills fairly throughout the year. What i’ve designed years back is Integrated Green Power Supply system with Solar+Wind+Mechanical … costing very cheap n affordable. IF u want to go further, the recent break through in technology is we can get electricity directly from Plants too… by tapping into their Photosynthesis… Nono-technology is involved… but it’ll going to be cheap very soon. Nono-tech based high performance solar pannels r already commercial!

Bi Sh Adding mechanical energy sources could be a great improvement. i have concerns regarding the additional cost it will incur.
madindra aryal to start with i can modify the PCB and improve the circuit efficiency. i would like to know a few specifications so that i can start the design. i would like to know;

  1. whats is the power rating of the solar panel. what is the output voltage current?
  2. are you using techniques like MPPT to convert solar to electricity. if not i will add this in the design and it will siginicantly improve the efficiency of the circuit. as a result a smaller solar panel can be used to deliver the same amount of power.
  3. what sort of load is being powered with it. e.g. LEDs fans etc. if you can provide me the voltage and current required at the output that will be very helpful.
  4. i am assuming you are using a lead acid battery to store power. can you provide any specifications on that.

the above information will help me to design the PCB and estimate how much it would cost.

@Azmat Bilal, its quite cheap… just crank, chain, dynamo etc u know it… you tube is full of such Human power components where by working for few minutes we can get plenty energy! One recent design claims 1hr work will support 24 hour energy! My cost estimate was below 400 USD with all… solar+wind+human power!

#Human_power incorporation is very cheap, just a cycling mechanism or so, #Gravity_method is also there, #Tapping_Photosynthesis of Plants is another recent ground breaking method.

@Azmal Bilal: What i was trying to mention was… integrating human power is quite cheap… you tube is full of such simple cycle systems. 1 hour work neough for 24 hour supply. Also #Gravity_method is there. U just need some 20-30 kg weight… rsaise it the system locks it n slowly releases it down producing electricity. There r verious other methods too. Will be my pleaseure to be of any help in this regared. Also regarding Solar, Nano_tech based high efficiency solar, #Glass_Solar, Fold-able Solar, #Photosynthesis_Green_Solar is already available.
