Was Previously Developing IoT using Python Now changed to EpsumThings
In this project we’ll learn how to apply python in practise to build IoT projects with true platform independency. The project will be for desktop and Raspberry pi.
We’ll work on communicating data between the desktop/Pi to the hardware connected via Wi-Fi to the system. We’ll use libraries such as kivy to build Gui app and build our own library to communicated and handle devices I.e., how they will be communicating and setting a specific dataformat, recognising the devices, detecting failures etc.
Teammates & Contributors I’m Looking For
Prerequisite knowledge of c/c++/Java and beginners of Python and people with urge to learn how stuff works in the real world and software development process in a team.
Where I Need the Most Help
Developing algorithms and data communication format and protocol and writing some code to implement it.
Why I’m Passionate About the project
To help myself and people around me to develop great projects with currently emerging programming language python. And mainly developing as a dynamic team.
My previous motive was to develop a project as a proof of concept and build an understanding of how IoT works in real life. Now extending this idea, we at Epsum Labs took this concept seriously and built upon this idea to present this concept to the world with “EpsumThings” an IoT platform for everyone targeting people from, who have little or no experience, to the people who are experts. This enables people to integrate IoT to whatever thing they want to without any boundaries.
