I want to create a home trash-bin, with a mechanism that can compact/compress garbage (paper,plastic,organic. Probably not glass) into a flat disc.
Instead of trash-bags, it will have round containers made out of soft aluminium (like disposable cake-trays), that will be compressed together, or a better material (since the process of processing aluminum is energy-consuming, and polluting).
You will be able to put several of the containers inside. A compressed garbage will stay in the bottom part of the bin - so you can easily remove it.
The mechanism should be automatic.
There will also be a mechanism for spraying a disinfecting liquid (that smells good).

Instead of making daily round-trips to the garbage room, you will be able to go once every few days.

Can anyone make or design
A mechanism similar to the crushing mechanism here, but on a larger scale?
Imagine the object to be squashed - a round-deep aluminum tray, filled with organic garbage.
And, after the squashing is done, a hatch opens and the flattened tray drops “down under”.
