Project Overview

Autonomous Mapping Robot

What I Want to Accomplish

A robot which can map out the room it’s in using ultrasonic sensor, wirelessly transmit this map to a PC and traverse out of the room autonomously.

Where I Need the Most Help

  1. The Algorithm which will map out the room.
  2. The software required to physically show the map from the gathered data.

Why I’m Passionate About This Project

I have always been interested in optimal path-finding algorithms. Have worked on A-star and Djikstra Algorithm. Now want to learn more by physically implementing it.
