STORY

Project Overview

I need help to design and build a TELEDRONE- a drone with a SIM card and telephony system that will locate its own destination by the caller or receiver’s phone number. It will telecast its location to both phones. It is a drone you can activate by DIALLING ITS NUMBER. It will be capable of solar charging while at rest or in flight.

Current Task in Progress

Nothing yet but I need ideas.

Project Steps

  1. A standard drone with 6 rotors for stability and power will be equipped with telephony: a SIM card and related hardware and software so the phone can start up and control the drone from anywhere in the world.

  2. A solar super-charger has to be built into the craft, so it charges while at rest, or while in flight.

  3. Remote access programming by phone will have to be done, so I will need people who can write code. The craft has to have its own app, so that the drone can be controlled on a phone’s proprietary user interface.

  4. The craft will have to fly longer distances and times than the standard drone, so it will have to be light, powerful, and easy to control, feeding on power from the sun.

Where I Need the Most Help

I need help in ALL aspects of the project, from hardware to software.

Why I’m Passionate About This Project

I want a drone that can sit at home and fly to me on emergency runs.
