Adoption of methods for making value added materials from derived plastics from waste also known as refuse derived fuel.

The availability of labour to do tasks in this area is very necessary . Can robotics be involved in such areas?
Robotics have to be cost effective solutions. Experts and innovators required.
Can simple machines be developed to solve the problem?
Can a chemical reaction with organic matter be made available that would convert organic matter into bio fuel thereby making it convenient to seperate plastic and inert material from waste without much waste.
The resultant plastic could also be used to make / use for fuel and other value added products.
