STORY

My Project Story!

This project aims at interfacing LM35 to NodeMCU board and forecasting the sensed values to Blynk IoT server.

What we want to Work on:

  • Nodemcu devkit v2 (esp8266 esp12e)

  • LM35 sensor

  • Arduino IDE

  • Blynk app

The prototype is connected to home Wi-Fi, though which updates are sent through internet.

The Nodemcu devkit v2

http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/NodeMCU-v2-Lua-based-ESP8266-development-kit-p-2415.html

The NodeMcu is an open-source firmware and development kit that helps you to
Prototype your IOT product within a few Lua script lines.

Features:
Open-source
Interactive
Programmable
Low cost
Simple
Smart
WI-FI enabled
Arduino-like hardware IO
Advanced API for hardware IO, which can dramatically reduce the redundant work for configuring and manipulating hardware.
Code like arduino, but interactively in Lua script.

Nodejs style network API
Event-driven API for network applicaitons, which faciliates developers writing code running on a 5mm*5mm sized MCU in Nodejs style.
Greatly speed up your IOT application developing process.

Lowest cost WI-FI
Less than $2 WI-FI MCU ESP8266 integrated and esay to prototyping development kit.
We provide the best platform for IOT application development at the lowest cost.

Specification:

The Development Kit based on ESP8266, integates GPIO, PWM, IIC, 1-Wire and ADC all in one board.
Power your developement in the fastest way combinating with NodeMCU Firmware!
USB-TTL included, plug&play
10 GPIO, every GPIO can be PWM, I2C, 1-wire
FCC CERTIFIED WI-FI module(Coming soon)
PCB antenna

Blynk App

Blynk was designed for the Internet of Things. It can control hardware remotely, it can display sensor data, it can store data, vizualize it and do many other cool things.
There are three major components in the platform:
Blynk App - allows to you create amazing interfaces for your projects using various widgets we provide.
Blynk Server - responsible for all the communications between the smartphone and hardware. You can use our Blynk Cloud or run your private Blynk server locally. It’s open-source, could easily handle thousands of devices and can even be launched on a Raspberry Pi.
Blynk Libraries - for all the popular hardware platforms - enable communication with the server and process all the incoming and outcoming commands.
Now imagine: every time you press a Button in the Blynk app, the message travels to space the Blynk Cloud, where it magically finds its way to your hardware. It works the same in the opposite direction and everything happens in a blynk of an eye.

Features

Similar API & UI for all supported hardware & devices
Connection to the cloud using:
Ethernet
WiFi
Bluetooth LE
USB (Serial)

Set of easy-to-use Widgets
Direct pin manipulation with no code writing
Easy to integrate and add new functionality using virtual pins
History data monitoring via History Graph widget
Device-to-Device communication using Bridge Widget
Sending emails, tweets, push notifications, etc.
… new features are constantly added!
You can find example sketches covering basic Blynk Features. They are included in the library. All the sketches are designed to be easily combined with each other.
